What this is

Isaac Codex (Chinese name 以撒图鉴) is an unofficial fan project: a companion website and app for The Binding of Isaac. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Nicalis, Inc. or Edmund McMillen. The Binding of Isaac, its characters, items, artwork and names are their property. We do not distribute the game’s files or artwork.

Using the service

You may use the website and app for personal, non-commercial purposes. Do not scrape the content in bulk, attack or overload the service, impersonate others, or post anything unlawful, hateful or spam in comments and corrections. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.

Accounts

You are responsible for what happens under your sign-in. You can delete your account at any time from Settings or by emailing us.

Pro

Pro is sold as a subscription or a one-time purchase through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Prices are shown in the store before you buy. Refunds follow the store’s policy; we cannot issue them ourselves. Pro features may change over time; we will not remove a feature you paid for without a comparable replacement.

Our content

The entries, experiment data, quiz questions and text in Isaac Codex are ours, produced by running experiments in the game. You may quote short excerpts with attribution. Game data referenced in entries belongs to the game’s owners.

Your content

Comments and corrections you submit stay yours. You give us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to show them in the app and to use corrections to improve the entries.

No warranty

The service is provided as is. We work hard to keep numbers accurate, but the game changes and experiments can be wrong; use the codex as a guide, not a guarantee. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service.

Changes and contact
